Doug Weiss, Ph.D.

Dr. Weiss studies issues related to comparative incarceration and the heterogeneity of delinquency. Dr. Weiss worked with at-risk youth in a therapeutic wilderness camp and completed one year of national service with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. His awards include the Sutherland Fellowship and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Some of Dr. Weiss’ publications appear in the Journal of Quantitative Criminology, Journal of Criminal Justice, and Victims and Offenders.
