Jared Dmello

Jared R. Dmello is a criminal justice and security studies researcher based at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, in the School of Criminology and Justice Studies, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D with an Option in Terrorism Studies. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa and his M.A. in National Security Studies from California State University at San Bernardino. His research focuses on terrorism in South Asia, the use of drones in counterterrorism policy, special operations, terrorist networks, and environmental influences on terrorism. He currently is the Instructor on Record for an introduction to terrorism studies course and an advanced seminar on weapons of mass destruction.
