Ms. Rios is currently assisting Dr. Dale Sechrest in the collection of data for the Riverside County Probation Department. She is working with the Probation Officers located in Perris , California, for the “Watch Your Step” Program. This program will allow DUI offenders to be closely monitored via GPS equipment. Ms. Rios is also collecting the data and creating a database for future analysis.

Among other projects that Ms. Rios is involved in, she plans on continuing her education at the doctoral level. She would like to attend the University of Irvine to pursue a PHD in Criminal Justice. After receiving her PHD, Ms. Rios would like to come back and teach at California State San Bernardino. Cal State San Bernardino has taught her so much. She wants to be apart of the staff here in the Criminal Justice Department, who continually give support and strive to make students achieve their best.
